The Challenge

Increase brand awareness and increase sales for one of the 50 hotels and resorts managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality in the Australian market. Align with a retail partner with a relevant target audience and reach for a 3* property in Waikiki for maximum return on investment.

Our Role

  • Negotiated tactical deal with the hotel and HOOT
    Holidays for a consumer campaign
  • Manage all aspects of the campaign
  • Provide all assets including images, rate sheets and
    product information.

The Results

  • Press advertising
    – 2 x Sunday Telegraph Sydney ad placements.
    – 2 x EDMs distributed to HOOT’s 103,000 subscribers during the campaign.
    – 4 x Facebook posts to HOOT’s page with 103,000 followers. Results: 125K reach, 2,743 likes, and 7,960 post-clicks.
  • Campaign value: $95,000.
  • The hotel received maximum exposure as the key selling lead-in package of the campaign.
  • 180% increase in room nights quoted.
  • Secured another Hawaii campaign with HOOT with the same hotel 3 months later.
