Colorado Tourism & Arizona Tourism

With an objective to engage the Australia & New Zealand trade and media, we positioned the two states as the perfect fly-drive holiday for Australian travellers. The theme ‘year-round adventure’ was utilised to generate interest.
Linkd Tourism provided destination partners the opportunity for face-to-face introductions with key AU/NZ stakeholders, training sessions, and participations in events.
We identified the interest in multi-state holidays and developed multiple fly/drive itineraries that encompassed both Arizona and Colorado, and provided education and training to agents for these routes.

Our Role

The mission included a mix of trade and media events hosted in Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne across 7 days. The events were made up primarily of seated lunches, with 2 larger Halloween themed trade events being held on October 30 (Sydney) and October 31 (Melbourne).

The Results

These Halloween themed networking events encouraged trivia style learning with a winner being awarded a spot on a combined Arizona/Colorado Fam trip sponsored by United Airlines.
