The Travel Weekly Women in Travel Awards shortlist was revealed this week, including Linkd Tourism as a finalist in the “Employer of the Year” category. The anticipated shortlist spanned 17 categories, with strong competition from renowned OTAs, travel agencies and wholesalers also in the running for the esteemed Employer of the Year title.
The annual Women in Travel Awards celebrates the inspiring and innovative actions that are displayed by women throughout the travel industry. Linkd Tourism’s equal opportunities policy, commitment to the development and retention of female talent, as well as hands-on, flexible and understanding approach demonstrated by Managing Director, Kylee Kay, contributed to its inclusion in the list of finalists.
It is our philosophy that we are nothing without our people. Taking care of our employees comes first and our belief is only then will the rest come. The Linkd Tourism team is extremely happy to see our philosophies embraced and recognised amongst such prestigious company. Following the announcement, Kylee Kay expressed “From the heart I want to thank the truly hard-working and loving team I am lucky enough to work with, as well as past employees that have helped to build the business into what it has become today. We care about each other and look out for each other and that’s the most important thing. It’s a genuine belief of mine that the highest achievement in business is to be seen as the best employer.”
