Louise Terry

Louise is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with over two decades of experience in the tourism sector. Bringing a calm and creative approach, Louise has extensive experience in destination marketing and management, media and PR, experience development and industry engagement.

With experience in State Government and regional tourism to the private and not-for-profit sectors, she has held pivotal roles in leading tourism organisations including Visit Victoria in Melbourne and Tourism Noosa in regional Queensland, driving initiatives to enhance brand visibility, deliver domestic campaigns and international trade programs and elevate outcomes for stakeholders.

Under the banner of her own consultancy, Louise is PR Lead for The Tweed Tourism Company and also worked with social enterprise Welcome to Country as Experience Development Manager, collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tourism businesses across Queensland and Victoria.

As a leader in championing DEI, Louise is also President of GALTA, Australia’s LGBTQIA+ Travel Association, a not-for-profit membership organisation that connects global travellers with welcoming experiences across Australia.
